give reason why the valency shell cannot have more than eight escept in case of the first shell which cannot have nore than two electrons​

this is because if there will be more electrons in the first cell after 2 then the cell will not going to follow The Sharing rule and it will not going to follow their own property that is why there must be a proper number of electrons in each shell which was set up very earlier

if you try to put 9 electrons in there, the electrostatic repulsion between the electrons themselves becomes more than that of the electrostatic attraction between electrons and the nucleus, it will outcast the extra electron into the outer shells. So, it can not contain more than 8 electrons.
