Complete Answer:

- The government has done a commendable job by making a law that one cannot catch and keep snakes, as due to all these activities we not only take their freedom but also affect our biodiversity.

- In some regions it is being eaten as well which shows the inhuman nature so it should be totally stopped, they are even kept captive for human entertainment which is very disgusting. We should cherish the beauty which nature has bestowed upon us instead of exploiting and killing them. Many species are on the verge of extinction but by taking this step we can save them.

- Each and every species on this earth has some importance and they play an important role in maintaining the life cycle so this step will also maintain the ecological balance and maintain a stable food chain. They are considered as secondary consumers and lie on the third trophic level so saving them would also maintain our food chain, nature would be at balance state. They are carnivores and they also help in cleaning our environment and maintain the balance.

- This law of government is thus a major step in saving our environment and to maintain the richness of our biodiversity.

Note: Snake feeds on live animals. The snakes can accidently bite the keeper. The snake bite can still result in infection even if it is not venomous. Legal licence is required for selling and purchasing of venomous snakes
