GIVE REASONS
1. A mixture of Oil and Wate can be separated by using a separating funnel but a mixture of mIlk and water cannot.
2. Silver and copper cannot be separated using a magnet

Answer:

1. As both milk and water are non-poler, thus they get completely mixed and can't be separated by using separation funnel

but they can be extracted by using fractional distillation

2. As both silver and copper are metal ,so both can't be individually extracted by using magnet

1)A mixture of oil......................... milk and water cannot because separating funnel separates insoluble liquids so the mixture of oil and water can be separated by separating funnel.

2)silver and copper.......magnet because silver and copper are not attracted towards magnet....
