• Chameleon is not a strong species which can physically fight with it's predator and survive.

• That's why a chameleon prefers to hide itself from it's predators.

(This hiding also helps them in their own predating also)

• To efficiently hide in the environment they change their body colour according to the environment to get a natural camouflage.

2) Lotus leaves have a waxy coating and are wide,disc shaped​ because -

• Lotus leaves have waxy surface to roll out the water droplets on their surface,the waxy coating is a hydrophobic coating which makes the lotus leaf waterproof.

• The shape of the lotus of is wide and circular because it helps the leaf to float on the water just like a boat.
