Tissues are vital in multicellular organisms because they are functional units of body. Multicellular organisms have complex body structures thus more kinds of tissues and organs are required for sustainance.

tissues help in endless ways to our body

there are tissues for transportation;digestion;circulation and endless ways

without them no functioning would take place and then body will be a useless organism they are group of cells which constitute the whole humankind without them we wouldn't be here as they are the basis of all multicellular and some unicellular organisms.

it  act as covering to many organs like lung alveoli, pct of kidney , blood vessels

some epithelium cells produce secretions like mucus

it helps in absorption of food

it act as physical barrier to body (skin made of stratified keratinised  squamous epithelium )

it also helps in the expansion of urinary bladder ( transitional epithelium)

tissues are made up of  cells which together function as an organ

muscles present in alimentary canal  are smooth muscles hence involuntary
