Answer:

hey buddy

1st First - make them on par with videshi products particularly in quality (mostly perception) - this is easy because most of the videshi products are manufactured in India from clothing to car to electronics. It is very important that the swadeshi products need to be of genuinely good quality

Second - establish a good customer service network /touch points - this is the tricky part requiring investments

Third - Don’t try to compete only on cost. Though the products are economically priced, but the focus shouldn’t be only on price

Forth - don’t depend on flashy advertisements, celerity endorsements, etc. - the MNC brands (having deep pockets) can easily outsmart in these games (which are actually created by them) - instead appeal through the genuine products and good quality standards and consistently meeting them

Fifth - using the alternate media to maximum. Though MSM won’t agree, but the alternative media is the fastest and cheapest mode to reach people en-mass and also appeal to their Emotional aspects

Sixth - Don’t hire high-flying marketing /sales people - they are of no use and also expensive… - instead the costs of sales /marketing/ promotions, etc. can be minimally kept and instead more can be spent on customer satisfaction.

Seventh - Distributors and dealers are key to promoting products - keep them happy with reasonable margins and proper refunds for returns

Eight - Packaging is important - at the same time it is also important to invest on Eco-friendly /sustainable packaging ideas and solutions for products - customers are becoming aware of these things and would certainly welcome such things

Ninth - Through the manufacturing of these swadeshi products, real benefit should be seen by small village laborers /workers and rural people (directly or indirectly) - this will have long term impact on the products’ emotional connect - this need to be quantified

Finally - sub standard product(s) and companies would certainly loose, be it videshi or swadeshi. We as a country today have a huge market, and daily there are products launched and many are fake and many companies dupe customers and disappear. These types of a businesses are bound to fail and in this information age, are also bound to be caught. Thus no compromise on quality and no cheating, etc
