1. The study of meteorites helps scientists to know about the interior of the earth.
2. Temperature starts rising gradually towards the interior of the earth.
3.The asthenosphere is in a semi molten state.
4. The inner core is in a solid state.

1. Because when asteroids strike, they make other objects like moon to orbit a host planet. They also have the ability to join to bigger asteroids and create planets which would orbit a host star.

4. Inner core is in solid state because lot of pressure makes it solid in state. And practically, it has to be in solid state because it is holding the whole mass of outer core, mantle and crust.
