1. The value of velocity ratio is greater than the value of mechanical advantage.
2. The value of efficiency is never hundred percent or more in practice.
3. Input work is always greater than output work.

1 ) Why velocity ratio is greater than mechanical advantage in a simple machine? The mechanical advantage of a machine is always less than its velocity ratio. It is because mechanical advantage decreases due to the friction and weight of moving parts of the machine, but the velocity ratio remains constant.

3 ) The output work is always less than the input work because some of the input work is used to overcome friction. Therefore, efficiency is always less than 100 percent. The closer to 100 percent a machine's efficiency is, the better it is at reducing friction

2. ) Efficiency is the percent of work put into a machine by the user (input work) that becomes work done by the machine (output work). The output work is always less than the input work because some of the input work is used to overcome friction. Therefore, efficiency is always less than 100 percent.
