Give reasons :-

1) when an army personnel fire a gun at some distance from us and we see the smoke of the gun fire earlier and listen the sound of the fire a little later. Why?


2)During rainy season flash of lightning take place in space is seen earlier but sound produced due to thundering of clouds is heard after sometime. Why? ​

Answer:

1. because , sound produced by gun need medium to travel that is air to reach to our ear drum that need a little time. so, why we hear sound after firing the gun .

2. same condition if also here sound need a little time to reach to our ear drum so we listen it after sometime of lightning.
