So, people may have different opinions from time to time as at first the government that a person may not be capable of running the country and so they might change their opinions and next time electe someone else as the government.

If election at regular intervals is not held, then the first government will go on running the country who may be not capable and thus the nature of the "democracy" will not be satisfied which is " by the people and for the people"
