Extinct species are those species which are not found after searches of known or likely areas where they may occur are called extinct species. e.g:- Asiatic Cheetah, Pink headed duck.

Endangered species are species which are in danger of extinction. e.g:- Indian Rhino, Black buck.

Endemic species are species which are found in some particular areas usually isolated by natural or geographical barriers are termed as endemic species.
e.g:- Andaman teal, Nicobar pigeon.
