Answer:

)The temperature gradient between places results in differences in air pressure and ultimately, wind. Wind speeds increase with a greater temperature difference. Winds re-distribute energy around the world.

)The amount of energy radiated by the Earth depends significantly on the chemical composition of the atmosphere, particularly the amount of heat-trapping greenhouse gases. A one-degree global change is significant because it takes a vast amount of heat to warm all the oceans, atmosphere, and land by that much.

)Since many rocks and minerals are formed under conditions present deep within the Earth, when they arrive near the surface as a result of uplift and erosion, they encounter conditions very different from those under which they originally formed.

)Labor cost-Labor cost is less in the rural areas and hence it is cheaper to locate a sugar mill in the sugar cane growing areas rather than near big towns.

)The cotton industry was concentrated in Maharashtra because:Raw material and labour-Black soil, ideal for cotton, is present in the region and labour can be found easily. 2. Transport-Port facilities are easily accessible through land and water transport.

)Europe's physical geography, environment and resources, and human geography can be considered separately. This tradition of exchange prompted the early and rapid urbanization of the continent, recognizable in many dynamic cities that make up most of Europe.
