A.During the day due to the presence of sunlight plant perform the process of photosynthesis.But in night it is dark so it continue it's process of respiration like us it inhale oxygen and exhale Carbon dioxide. so in night the elimination of carbon dioxide is major exchange.
B. The aquatic organisms breath by taking the oxygen dissolved in water.The amount of oxygen is fairly low as compared to the land.So the aquatic organisms has to breathe faster in order to get more oxygen. that's all
