a) The insectivorous plants grow in areas with low nutrition in the soil and so they depend on other sources of nutrients. Most of the insectivorous plants are brightly colored. This is because they need to attract and trick the insects to come to them.
b) Well, instead of a mouth, they have a kind of long, straw-like structure called a 'proboscis' which enables them to drink juices and nectar. When this 'proboscis' is not being used, it is coiled-up like a garden hose. Butterflies feed primarily on nectar from flowers. ... All butterflies have six legs and feet.
