(A) These thick forests occur in the regions near the equator and close to the tropics. These regions are hot and receive heavy rainfall throughout the year. As there is no particular dry season, the trees do not shed their leaves altogether

(B) The taiga is a forest of the cold, subarctic region. The subarctic is an area of the Northern Hemisphere that lies just south of the Arctic Circle

(C) There are broad leaved evergreen trees and these forests are not dense. Hence, trees found here are that which can protect themselves against mositure loss during summer. Trees are lower in height, have thick barks, deep roots, and small leathery/waxy leaves so as to adapt to the summer drought.
