a)Why photosynthesis is considered as the basic source of energy for most of living world?
b) Why is it right to call the dark phase of photosynthesis as a light independent phase?

a.) Because it is the only biological process which gives oxygen required for our survival

b)'Dark Phase' does not mean that it is carried out at night, it means that it does not need light, so it is better to call it light independent phase to avoid confusion.

c)So, we are sure that the starch formed at the end of the experiment was  present just because of the experiment and was not present before.

d)Because in sunlight photosynthesis overshadows respiration.
