2) In democracy every citizen has the right to vote and to elect the candidate of their own choice. But in earlier time the right to vote was received to a small number. It was limited to a few people who could cast their vote in the election, so democratic government. thus formed were imperfect.

3) The citizens also felt that the development in Democracy will help them somehow. While recognising that the complexity of modern society imposes limits on direct democracy, participation by all is imperative because it creates shared interests, a common will, and community action, all of which inevitably give legitimacy to politics."
