Give reasons as to why cell division can or cannot be a type of reproduction in multicellular organisms.

cell division cannot be a type of reproduction in multicellular organism because in multicellular organisms different functions are assigned to different organs so if there will be cell division then the different parts will lack in differnt functions. in multicellular organisms different cells and different tissues have different function whereas in unicellular organisms only one cell is there for performing all the functions hence cell divison can take place easily..
