Give reasons :
Blood group of 'O' type can be given to all groups and a person with blood
group 'AB' can receive blood from all groups.​

Answer:

the blood cells with O type of blood group have no antigens on their surface,hence they do not trigger any response in the recipient ,and can be donated to all

whereas the blood cells of AB type have antigens of A and B type both hence when any type of blood is donated to them,they do not form any antibody against them as they do not recognize the donated blood as foreign bodies

this is why blood group of 'O' type can be given to all groups and a person with blood  group 'AB' can receive blood from all groups.​
