because ,the molecules in it are tightly packed ,v can't break them with a little force ,so this is the reason y wooden table is called as a solid

A wooden table is a rigid object having a definite shape and definite volume. A solid has a fixed shape because the particles of a are closely packed and their position are fixed due to the strong force of attraction between them which also happens in the case of a table.
