Nitric acid contains "NitrogenDioxide" . On exposure to sunlight , UV radiation makes some amount of NO2 to be released . The amount of NO2 is less and due to which instead of the original Brown colour the solution seems to be yellow ..

nitric acid takes yellowish brown colour due to presence of dissolved nitrogrn dioxide.
nitric acid slowly decomposes even at room temperature, specially in the presence of sunlight.
When nitric acid is exposed to sunlight then nitrogen dioxide is liberated giving yellow color.
