Give reasons-Cool air sinks and warm air rises up?

Warm air rises up because being warm it's particles are constantly moving, making a long gap between the atoms of air that makes it light and make it to rise up.
The particles of cool air are nearer so it becomes heavier and thus it don't rise up.
