(b) the particles of air have large spaces between them but a wooden block (solid) have no space between its molecule and also it is rigid this is the reason through which we can easily move our hands in air but a wooden block cannot be, we need a Karate expert.

(c) because the wooden table is a solid and it has a definite shape. it does not flow at room temperature. there is no much space between its molecules.
