Give Reasons for the following :

1. in a heavier body, the mass is more than a lighter body of equal volume, so it's density is also more.

2.If we take 1kg of iron and 1 kg of cotton, Mass is same but volume occupied by each of them is different. Density is inversely proportional to volume. The higher the density, the lower the volume. Iron occupies less volume than cotton, that's why it has higher density comparatively to Cotton.

3.Graph paper is used for measuring the area of an irregular object so that with the help of graph paper and the tiny boxes drawn on it, we can know the exact area of the object

4. Displacement is usually the method that is used to measure the volume of an irregularly shaped object. The object is simply submerged in a liquid and the volume of liquid that is displaced is measured. As an example imagine a 100 ml graduated cylinder with 50 ml of water in it .

5.Bus speed = 20 km./hour

car speed= 50 km./ 2hrs

so,

car speed =50/2= 25 km

and,

bus speed =20/1 = 20 km

so, car speed is 25 km per hours
