Give reasons for the following :-
1. roasting is carried out on sulphide ores and not on carbonate ores.
2. ethanol can be converted to ethene using conc. H2SO4.
3. conc. nitric acid cannot be stored in plain glass bottles.
4. nitric acid is a strong oxidizing agent in the concentrated state of the acid than in dilute state.

There is no way to reduce the element from carbonate ores.. so we heat it with oxygen and reduce it with coke or other reactive element

Nitric acid is stored in glass bottles why the f are u asking?? I think u might asked nitric acid in metal bottles.
