Answer:

Explanation:

1. The particles in solid are held together by strong inter-molecular force of attraction which do not allow the particles to move whereas in liquid, the inter-molecular force of attraction is very low thus, the particles are allowed to move freely.

2. when magnesium burns it produces bright white shine, that is why magnesium is used in firework to add white sparks to it.

3. diamond is a large 3D network of C-C covalent bond, which makes diamond very hard and have very high melting point (aprox 4827 degree C). and this is the reason diamond is used to cut glass

4. Solid:- it has definite shape and size, the particles are held together by strong inter-molecular force of attraction and have negligible space between them,  it cannot be bent if forced to do so it might brake, it deforms under high pressure

liquid:- it does not have definite shape and size but occupies volume in which it is kept, has weak inter-molecular force of attraction and have spaces between the particles, it cannot be compressed.

gases:- it does not have definite shape and size but occupies volume in which it is kept, it has no inter-molecular force of attraction and have large spaces between them, it can be liquified under high pressure.

5.  melting of wax is reversable in nature and is a physical change while burning of candle produces CO2 which is a chemical change.
