Give reasons for the following:

(a) Arteries are thick walled.

(b) Blood goes only once in one cycle through the heart in fishes.

Answer:

(a) Arteries are thick walled becoz the flow of blood is fast and quick when compared to the flow in veins.

(b)Because in fishes , in fishes , oxygen is absorbed trough gills n gets circulated from the heart to the rest of the body and also they have 2 chambered heart.

(c) Plants are stationary , so they don't move also , they need less energy because most of the cells are dead.
