Give Reasons For The Following:
a)Cellulose is one of the polymer.
b)All the synthetic fibres are prepared from petrochemicals.​

a) Because cellulose is built out of a sugar monomer, it is called a polysaccharide. This is the same glucose which your body uses in order to live, but you can't digest it in the form of cellulose. Still, it is an important part of your diet.

b) The reasons why some of the fibres are called synthetic is because man has prepared them by using chemicals. These are made of small units that join together to form long chains. Some of the examples of synthetic fibres are nylon, rayon, acrylic, polyester etc.
