d)Refrigerators have plastic foam core as it is the most resistant to the low.it prevent heat from coming into Refrigerators

e) plastic is an insulator.it is used to prevent short circuit and prevent humans from getting  shock.

1. Cooking pans have plastic handles because plastic is a bad conductor of heat. So, it stops the heat to flow. That's why cooking pans have plastic handles.

2.Burning of plastic causes air pollution because it is made of inorganic substance. Plastic can't be decomposed. And when we burn it ,it produces toxic substance due to this plastic produce air pollution.

3.Electric wires have plastic covering because electricity flow through wires. and some times people touch it. So, to prevent this incident, electric wires have plastic covering.

4.Bakelite is used for making switches.
because it is bad conductor of electricity. And it is most durable plastic.

5.Plastic are strong and durable because plastic contains very small intermolecular spaces between their particle due to this they remain strong and durable.
