Give reasons for the following:
a. Fresh milk is boiled before consumption while processed milk stored in packets can be consumed without boiling.
b. Raw vegetables and fruits are kept in refrigerators whereas jams and pickles can be kept outside.
c. Farmers prefer to grow beans and peas in nitrogen deficient soils.
d. On tetra pack of fruit juices, it is printed “If the packet is puffed do not buy. ”

Fresh milk is boiled before consumption to kill harmful microorganisms this process is caaled pasteruziation while processed milk is already pasteruzed no need to boil again.

b. Raw vegetables and fruits have process to grow and rotten easily at normal temperature but refrigerator slow the time of rotten by decreasing the temperature.

jams and pickels containing itself food preservative which prevents them from microorganisms.

c. peas and beans itself containing rhizobium a nitrogen fixation bacteria that's why peas and beans are prefer to grow In nitrogen deficient area.

d. puffed pack means it is gas inside the packet which is made by fermentation by microbes , not good for health.
