Answer:

First is possible

Reason as follow

as number of sides = 360/ exterior angle

= 360/40

= 9.

Second is not possible

reason as follow

Exterior angle = 180 - interior angle

= 180 - 145 = 35

as number of sides = 360/ exterior angle

= 360/35

= 72/7 which is not a natural number.

Perfect questions for guys interested in maths..

2. The value of x + x(xx) when x = 2 is:

(a) 10, (b) 16, (c) 18, (d) 36, (e) 64

Solution:

x + x(xx)

Put the value of x = 2 in the above expression we get,

2 + 2(22)

= 2 + 2(2 × 2)

= 2 + 2(4)

= 2 + 8

= 10
