Ans)The bottom of the cooking utensils are always kept black as black is a very good conductor of heat.So,black bases help in cooking food easily.

b)We prefer white coloured clothes in summer.

Ans)White is a reflector of heat which means that white doesnot absorb heat.Therefore,it is easier to wear white coloured clothes during summer as they donot conduct heat.

c)A new quilt is warmer than an old one.

Ans)A new quilt is always warmer than the old quilt as old quilts would have loosen up their strength to conductor and absorb heat whereas a quilt is freash so it would have a better conductivity for which a quilt is warmer than the old one.
