Give reasons for the following:
i) A liquid generally flows easily.
ii) Ice at 00C appears colder to the mouth than water at 00C.Why?
iii) Doctors advise to put stripes of wet cloth on the forehead of a person having high
temperature.

1) Bcoz molecules of water r loosely bounded.
2) Bcoz ice contains molecules closely bounded.
3) Bcoz water makes the high temperature of forehead low...which will not harm the infected person.

i) Liquids flow easily because of low intermolecular attraction between the molecules and the property of fluidity

ii) Because of presence of Latent Heat and high intermolecular attraction between the molecules
