i)when they are connected in parallel the amount of electricity is supplied frequently and prevents short circuit
ii) because alloys are made up of two or more metals and they have high melting point.
iii)because they are more ductile compared to other metals

Hello dear your answer
If the answer is wrong please say in inbox or incomment.....
1)when appliances are connected in a parallel agreement, each of them can be put on and off independently this is a feature that is essential in a house wiring. also if the appliance were wires in series, the potential differences across it appliances vary depending on the resistance of the appliance......
2)It is because alloys have high resistivity(Low electrical conductivity)then the pure metalss hence alloys don't melts or break at high temperature.most heating element used in nichrome80/20(80%Nickel,20%Chromium)wire are Ribbon or strip......
3)Aluminium and copper are used for making wires because they are good conductor of electricity.hence they are usually employed for Electricity Transmission.Copper and Aluminium wires are generally used for Electricity Transmission as they have low resistivity.Low resistivity decrease the resistance and hence increase the amount of current in the circuit.....
I am sorry if the answer is wrong and please say to me in comment that the answer is right or wrong....
Thanks!!
