give reasons for the following (i) liquid Ammonia is used as refrigerant in ice plants. (ii) aqueous solution of Ammonia is used for removing grease stains from woolen clothes.

Ammonia is used as refrigerant in ice plants because of its virtuous qualities like one of the biggest advantage of ammonia as refrigerant is that it is safe to the environment and does not cause any depletion of ozone layer..... Hope you understand well.... And it is also used as laundry agent in which it is used for removing grease stains because it emulsifies grease which when washed.. Goes out.....
