(i) Nitric oxide readily combines with O2O2 of air to form nitrogen dioxide which is brown in colour.

2NO+O2→2NO22NO+O2→2NO2 (nitrogen dioxide)

(ii) Due to the presence of lone occur of electron on N,NH3N,NH3 acts as a ligand .
