Give reasons for the following:
(i) The glottis is guarded by the epiglottis.
(ii) It is said to not speak while eating.
(iii) Walls of the trachea are supported by cartilage rings

1. Glottis is wind pipe .If there is no epiglottis then food materials passes into glottis that causes severe problem.
2. If we speaks when eating then food passes into the wind pipe i.e glottis .It may causes severe respiratory problem.
