4. the soles of our shoes wear out because friction generates energy. so to overcome the force of friction the soles of our shoes wear out.

5.heavy objects are moved using rollers because rollers reduce friction.

6. when we rub our palms we feel warm because friction between our hands generates heat.

7. we put rakom powder on carrom board because to reduce friction . so that it moves smoothly.

8. friction is a necessary evil because it help us in various ways such as it helps us to walk, to light a matchstick, to hold things etc.

9. we slip on the floor if there is water, oil or grease because there is less friction between the ground. grease or oil reduce friction between the surface and the ground so the person may slip.
