Hey

Answer ==A

Meristematic cells have a prominent nucleus and a dense cytoplasm but lack a vacuole, this is so because meristematic cells have an ability to divide and form new cell. ...

But, there is no point in storing food and other nutrients when the cell has to divide.

B =Intercellular spaces are absent in sclerenchymatous tissues because they have a cementing substance (known as lignin) around their cell membrane which makes them stiff and hard.

C=We get a crunchy and granular feeling when we chew pear fruit because of the presence of sclerenchyma tissue.

The sclerenchyma cells are of two types- fibres and sclereids

The sclereids give a crunchy feeling to the pear fruit because it provides support and hardens the tissue.

Hope it helps uh

_____________Answer________

Meristematic cells have a prominent nucleus and dense cytoplasm but they lack vacuole. because meristematic cells have an ability to divide and form new cell.

Intercellular spaces are absent in sclerenchymatous tissues. because they have a cementing substance (known as lignin) around their cell membrane which makes them stiff and hard.

We get a crunchy and granular feeling, when we chew pear fruit. because of the presence of sclerenchyma tissue.

Branches of a tree move and bend freely in high wind velocity..due to the presence of lignin. In collenchyma intercellular spaces are absent and cells are elongated.

It Is difficult to pull out the husk of a coconut tree. because ,it is made up of scelerenchyma tissues which is ade of dead cells.

Thank you
