Herbivores have the strong grinding teeth because these animals need lots of strength and the energy to break down the strong plants and also to pluck up these plants underneath i.e., to pull them along with their roots. Thus they have strong grinding teeth.

Answer:

Herbivores have strong grinding teeth in front for cutting and grazing and flat wide teeth at the back for chewing.
