This made him more curious about the road less travelled and in curiosity, he chose that path. The poet was also doubting on his decision of choosing the road less travelled, and at the end of the poem we observed that the poet is thinking about "the other road had the better claim". This highlights one of the human's personality which is regret, confused state of mind and attraction toward the things which we do not possess.
