Reasons why glass cannot be magnetised are mentioned below :

- Some objects such as glass don't exhibit any kind of electric current flowing through the object and due this there will no presence of magnetic field as well.

- Glass cannot get attracted to magnets because both it has got very low permeability and no field lines pass through it.

- This material gets repelled by north and south poles in different directions as it's diamagnetic and thus it cannot be magnetised.
