i) Chromium is used to plate bathroom fitting because it prevents them from corroding and getting scratched. However, objects are not made with Chromium because it is a very expensive metal.

ii) When we boil water in a paper cup , The paper doesn't burn because , The water in the cup absorbs the heat and doesn't let the paper to reach to it's flash point and an object doesn't starts burning until it reaches it's flash point. So, Paper doesn't Burns and water also boils.

ii) The boiling water can't get above 212 degrees, and the paper is thin enough that this water keeps its temperature from climbing high enough to combust. It's only when the water on the other side of the paper entirely boils away that the paper cup will burn away
