Give reasons - It is very important to preserve the prey-predator chains.

Without predators, prey will have a tendency to overpopulate an area, this will cause the consumption of all available resources that the prey consumes. This may cause other organisms to die off.

Without prey, predators will either die out or will need to adapt by consuming other prey, which will artificially reduce that prey’s population causing shortages for other predators and so on.

Everything is linked together in this world. The world is equipped to adapt to whatever is thrown at it. However, the bad part is that the adaptation may not include us…which would be bad.
