Give reasons plain all over the world are comparatively densely populated

Plains are densely populated for many reasons. Here are some reasons that will give you an  understanding.

1. Plains are flat lands; easy for inhabitation. 
2. Usually the soil in plains are very fertile; mostly alluvial soil.
3. They are easy to build and traverse upon.
4. All resources are either reachable or can be transported easily.
5. Plain are usually spread over for a large distance; people can live together.
6. Nucleated, linear, and dispersed settlement patterns are possible.

These reasons are, what I feel, the most common reasons for wholesome settlements in plains.
