Q1) Why birth rate is high in less economically developed countries..
Q2) Why death rate is low in more economically developed countries.

(1) Birth rates are high because: Children are needed to work and bring in an income for the family. Children are required to look after elderly parents because of a lack of pensions .... In some developing countries, children can be viewed as a sign of virility .

(2) Most developing countries have very low death rates because their age structure favors a younger population. Conversely, the most developed countries have higher death rates, resulting from a rapidly aging population.
