Because of swez canal, the distance between India and Europe has been reduced. Earlier, the travellers have to travel through the continent of Africa and then they reached India. But the swez canal is in Mediterian sea. So now the travellers do not have to travel through Africa to reach India.

Answer:
'Suez Canal has reduced the distance of 7000 km' Give reason. India is connected with Europe, North America and South America through both the routes-the Cape of Good Hope and the Suez Canal. Since the opening of the Suez Canal in 1869, distance between India and Europe has been reduced by 7000 kms
