Well,one factor is the presence of CO2 in the atmosphere.Its absorption capacity of heat helps warm up the temperature preventing extreme coldness.If it wsnt there ,the earth would ave been icy cold.

Earth is far away from sun.
but not too far away and too near .
it is almost in the middle of the solar system.
it get enough heat for a living being could live in that temperature.
