Often the outer and sidewalls of epidermal cells are thicker than the wall that faces the inside of the plant. Epidermal cells on the aerial parts of the plant often secrete called cutin, a waxy substance that forms a water-resistant layer called cuticle on their outer surface. pls mark it as brainliest !!!
