In humid weather it takes longer time to dry wet clothes because the moisture and water vapour are present in humid weather they gets slight absorbed by the clothes and clothes maintain their wetness due to this they take a longer time to dry and in humid weather they doesn't get enough sunlight to dry themselves at a faster or normal rate, so they take long time due to this reasons.

Hey mate

the reason is

Evaporation is inversely proportional to humidity. When we increase humidity then the rate of evaporation decreases, so in humid weather it take longer time to water in clothes to evaporate.
